2009 Capital/Chesapeake Area Emmy Nominee, Commercial - Single Spot. About two hours before our initial production meeting to discuss new commercials for 2009-10, this idea popped into my head for the Graduate School's Distance Education piece. The old "shortest distance between two points" cliche' quickly grew into the narrator copy and visual concept. The good folks at GS trusted me to run with the idea, and it came out better than almost anyone imagined at the onset! Not bad for an ad with only $100 worth of hard costs...
